Want Company?
There was once a little girl
Ever so stubborn
Who questioned every task
No one asked her to do much
For they didn’t bother to answer her
She was left alone to do what she’d prefer
One day she sat alone in the park
When it started getting dark
Passed a little boy who was also alone
“Can you let me sit here?” asked the boy unknown
“Why should I?” said the girl with a soft tone
The little boy stood there
“So you sit by someone who cares”
The little girl stared, a startled stare
The little girl said “alright”
The little boy sat with delight
Since then, they sat there together every night
