Down up to the side
Your eyes find a wall
The mouth chokes the throat
The throat wants to speak for the Starry-Eyed
Girl Dreamer
But the brain is discouraged
By the heart.
The tongue is tense, the heart more so wondering
You light a cigarette
The cherry squints at her expectantly
The Girl Dreamer has prepared a manuscript
Your eyes find her
She's convinced its not ready.
