i’ve been drifting in an ocean of confusion
will you help me?
listen to me,
there’s a pandora’s box filled with wonder
will you help me
understand me?
april
you’re a slow-melting snow-melting reason
to discover
and uncover
certain beautiful secret parts of me
am I another
misplaced lover?
april
teach me to begin my life with grace
teach me to grow into this empty green space
tell me this isn’t as hard as it seems
april, please nourish these gentle new dreams

april you taste like
brand-new possibilities-
hopeful and perfect

The first rhetorical question you begin with is one I struggle with everyday; somehow after so much time it remains unanswered. It's the cry of every human heart: "will you help me?". "I've been drifting in an ocean of confusion..." Then, another question that brudens all of us: "will you help me understand me?" You're always writing from the heart the questions within in us all. You know me; I love it.
