Song of the Moment

In just one fleeting second in your presence,
Melodies are inspired; however, they are evanescent.
Lyrics come to life but they lose their senses.
They are lost in the moment
And driven to silence.
The drums are muffled then silent,
Just like my heart, when I'm around you.
The song pulses steadily and
Suddenly accelerating to a brand new movement.
A new symphony echoes in the back of my mind.
Violins sweetly sing the melody
As the trumpets blazon the harmony,
Forming perfect unity.
All from that one fading encounter.
