"We wish to be happier than other people, and this is always difficult, for we believe others to be happier than they are." -Anonymous

The sound of falling rain,
a cool wet slaps my neck,
hairs rise.

Dark night sky,
grey-black,
with the aura of bright white.

Damp concrete,
the aroma of dull,
silent.

Gentle whistle,
soft rustle,
unknown sounds.

Street light flickers,
on and off,
on and off.

Steps slowed,
breeze chilled,
soft whisper.

Fast glance,
heavy breath,
quick.

Blurred vision,
panicked step,
cry out.

Hello,
hello,
hello?

Gasp,
give in,
gone.

Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments which take your breath away.

You are only as strong as your weakest link.

Great! It left me with the sense of wanting to know more about what is happening.
