Favorite Quote:
“We are all a little weird and life is a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”

Dr. Seuss

In a society
When sanity exists
It is power
And insanity
Is weakness
Order
Will thrive
He with a twisted mind
Sees through corrupted eyes
Only a sane person
Should gauge insanity
The insane
Must be herded
Like the sheep that they are
The practical
Using structure
Instead of
Using Laughter
The deranged
Must find the truth in
The sensible
And the truth is
Sanity and insanity are one in the same
No matter which way you look at it

This poem talks about the idea that sanity and insanity are basically the same thing, it's all just perspective. Reading the poem normally, from top to bottom, reads from the perspective of a sane person. Reading the poem from bottom to top (pasted below original poem), the poem reads from the perspective of an insane person. It kind of makes you wonder....is anyone really sane or insane?
