Down The Drain

Looking in the mirror
A face so streaked with black
Staring back at you
So rinse it off
Wash it away
And you think all your problems
Followed those tears down the drain
Wrong
Look again
At what wont come off
It's forever apart of you
So scratch and claw it off
Watching red drip down
Your freshly scared cheek
And smile at yourself
For what will never be
