A World Without Art
"This world is but a canvas to our imagination.”
 -Henry David Thoreau

 Imagine a world,
and what it would be like,
 if there was no art.

We would lose a sense of
 creativity, imagination,
 and personality.

 There would be no
 dance, theatre, music,
 or art in general.

 It would be
 a dull, colorless,
 sluggish world.

 Like Max Eastman said,
“It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process.”
