Addiction

March 11, 2013
By Anonymous

once upon a time, there was a girl with an addiction
she never told anyone about it, because she was afraid to
the girl tried to shake it on her own, but she always wanted to do it more
then one new year's eve, she decided to stop
she got a calendar, and decided to mark off every day that she abstained
now in the middle of march, she really wants to do it again
but she's scared to.

so she prays, and asks God to help her through this
she knows that God is on her side, but it's still hard
she wants help, but doesn't want people to know what she's doing
she wants closure, and to know that she will never do it again
she just wishes that she had never started.

she wishes she wasn't an addict.

I love how you can express such true feelings through your writing. Not many people can do that. Even through your words, I can tell your a strong-willed person. The fact that you are trying with everything you've got. That's true strength. Keep going and keep believing in the fact that you can do anything, because you really can, and I promise you that you will make it.
