For Those Who are Helplessly Uncreative
Ahh, sunrise,
The universal symbol for hope, love, and new beginnings,
I pity thee.
Nay,
I pity those who worship the start of the new day like their lord and saviour had just been rebirthed.
Oh ye helpless romantics
Who believe that the kiss of the sun’s warm, golden rays will replenish the soul and body with love
Are merely allowing the searing heat to scorch the skin sooner.
Ye helpless romantics
Who believe that the brilliant colors created by the rising ball of gas each morning are a blessing
Are wishing relentless darkness upon others.
I am truly glad to not be like you.
But, lo!-
I must withdraw my last notion
If what I say is true
I am in a dreadfully more unfavorable condition than I had thought.
For,
If I nay-say the sun
Does that make me a member of a group whom is, in certain ways, far worse than the helplessly romantic?
If I nay-say the sun
Does that make me a member of the helplessly unromantic?
