Hello, you look familiar.
Really?
Because I've never seen you.
I've never heard you slink through the hallway, taking pictures of the atrocities of middle school.
Oh, you want my name?
You're featuring my article?
In what, The New York Times?
Oh.
You are.
I wake up, drenched in sweat,
staring at the grime colored wall across from my bed,
It was only a dream.
I focus on my heavy breathing, trying to mask my dissapointment.
Suddenly,
I hear screaming,
pounding,
yelling,
and glass breaking as I am brought back to the reality of my horrible life.
I close my eyes,
trying to drown out the screams of my parents
with fanciful dreams.
But none come
