A midnight pulse,
A dawn rhyme,
I feel my heart
Beating in time

Madness thrives,
Inside my head,
of lisztomania,
and words unsaid

A mind possessed,
solely by cadence,
clamorous thoughts
trying my patience

This piece is essentially about how an insane mind is tamed by music. The madness is still there, just under control.
