I shook your hand this afternoon
and feelings came from me to you again
How does this keep happening, friend?
I know we won’t be the way we were back then
The last time our lips combined will always be the last
but today I fear I love you the way I always have
I shook your hand this afternoon
and the familiar smooth feeling surprised me
It’s been awhile since I felt your grasp
but I fear feelings come from me to you again
