Distance

Separation is a test. In the end we will all be graded
Do we wind up how we started or will our memories be faded?
Waiting for the time to come will surely make things worse
Like a spell is cast upon oneself, and for the other, a haunting curse
From one end to the other, the space between holds the answer
To reunite in happiness, or live like music without a dancer
Missing pieces to the days, that were once filled with laughter
Make you reconsider your story, and, perhaps, start a new chapter
A song without the lyrics, is a melody, which nobody can sing
Because distance means nothing, when someone means everything
