For how light you look, your weight is immense.

The large amount of pencils, held in a small pocket.
The books, the binders, the agony.
How strong you are is beyond my belief.

Piles of un-graded trees fill your insides.
Your grip is so tight on my soft, bony shoulders.
Your clean, light teal is so dark and dirty.
Your strong handle is practically falling off.

You’ve lasted through 6 months of use.
That’s not too long but you’ve done so much.
With the little amount of work left to do, you should last a bit longer.
You’re as heavy as feather, but as light as a boulder.

You’re so faithful to me.
Though you may carry untold lies
About those grades that are “missing”,
You’re always by my side everywhere I go.
