High tides. Deep brown eyes.
Crash over me in pounding waves.
Sweep me away from docks of familiarity.
Myself, surrounded by you.
Until together we find ourselves;
a sea tangle, in the midst of blue.

Lips whisper mellow sailors' tunes,
with taunts to drown my own.
Pull me in close.
There's no keeping afloat.
Sweep me up with sweet blue tides.
Crash me down ashore,
a trembling storm, only craving more.
