Wave after wave of emotional torture.
Like a roller-coaster ride from hell.
Up and down. Back and fourth.
Like an ocean of love enveloping me
In the sweet warmth of caressing
Waters on a sandy shore
Full of perfect shells.
All the while the stress and worry burn.
It tears me apart from the inside out.
The flames that bite and
The soft waves that calm.
It seems they are never in balance,
I am either overly calm.
Dead to the world.
Or I am too high strung.
Going mad from stress. exploding.
Each thought a bolt of lightning.
Each fear a sharp knife.

It was late last night, I was tired and thought I would put pen to paper and see where it goes. this is what I came up with.
