The tender hands of his
grip her petite waiste
and hoiste her up into the starry night.

She feels the icy wind
corrode against her delicate cheek
and her trifle lips let a giggle escape,
For pain was a foreign concept.

The wee angel
mutates into a frantic monster.

She throws her gruesome words around
like a teenager handing out free love.

The once lasting grin,
becomes a terrifying scowl.

In her befuddled world .

And so the story goes on,
as Daddy’s girl was no more.

Just had a talk with my Dad about growing up, and so I just wrote this! Had bit of writer's block, so not my best piece. But let me know what you think!
