Discarded like an old shirt
Doomed to lie in waste
Torn and frayed on the ends

Discarded like a broken bottle
Laying in solitude missing pieces
Doomed to never be complete again

Discarded like an old piece of music
Ripped down the middle, halfway,
Never to be a masterpiece again

The author's comments:
i wrote this inspired by the things that were in my trash can. ironically i never realized how depressing trash cans were until i looked in and saw the poetry in trash.
