His insidious manipulation
Crawls up from the bottom
Of my spine, and pinpoints
A weakness in my heart.
Spinning webs of lies and
Destruction throughout
The pumping vessels.
I believed him,
I thought he cared.
I forgave him too many times.
Too many stabs to my heart
With a dull, serrated, chiseled
Piece of your broken soul,
Caused me to spiral downwards
Into the unknown.
I cannot find my own heart
Within the darkness,
Because your creates a cloudy,
Dark and mysterious mist,
That lies over my shattered body.

The author's comments:
This is about a broken heart i recently had to endure. Lying does not help anyone, but instead only hurts them. This shows the anger and hurt that comes with lies and much more.
