Alone in the Breeze

See the skies,
So calm in the night,
Scattered with stars,
That fill my sight.
A full moon I see,
Which adds to the serenity.
A gentle breeze,
Blows through the dark,
Swishing my hair around.
The leaves rustle,
The branches sway,
Bringing the night to life.
I take in a breath,
Smelling the bonfire,
That took place that evening.
A slight smile,
Appears on my face,
For this is my favorite time.
The sights,
The smells,
The peace,
The time to think,
To be alone,
Alone in the breeze.
