Favorite Quote:
Without music, life would be a mistake.
Friedrich Nietzsche

See the skies,
So calm in the night,
Scattered with stars,
That fill my sight.

A full moon I see,
Which adds to the serenity.

A gentle breeze,
Blows through the dark,
Swishing my hair around.
The leaves rustle,
The branches sway,
Bringing the night to life.

I take in a breath,
Smelling the bonfire,
That took place that evening.

A slight smile,
Appears on my face,
For this is my favorite time.

The sights,
The smells,
The peace,
The time to think,
To be alone,
Alone in the breeze.

I had to write this poem for class but I ended up really enjoying it more than I thought I would. I love nature and I love poetry so I loved writing this poem. And I truly do love what the poem says, it's relaxing. I am also personally proud of how well I think this poem has turned out.
