The sun is setting...
I watch as it casts its light upon the earth,
Creating each shadow ever so gracefully,
Ever so carefully, making no mistakes...

The stars are coming out of their hiding places...
Each one sparkling, as if to say hi,
To the beautiful planet, and beautiful people,
They were sent to watch over each night...

They captivate me...
I watch as their light silently illuminates the night sky,
Giving us hope that we will once again,
See the light of day...

And the moon shines down upon me...
With a face that says "Good night",
"I will watch over you, and keep you safe,
As you sleep"...

No more a beautiful thing
Has ever been created by man...
