"Those who restrain desire, do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained." William Blake

Chaos ensues, thoughts stolen away-
My mind may peruse, emotions kept at bay.
Where then am I going? How then have I gone-
On without knowing, exactly where I went wrong?
Unable to speak, silence a chilling resound.
The tempest will peak, rain to thrash upon solid ground.
Consume all! I beg, I pray-
Tear away the skin, the fall welcome to my dismay.
Bleeding heart, held in my hand-
It wept from the start, buried in the sand.
Take me,take me! I beg, I pray!
Not again, not my friend,do not let him slip away-
Gone, he is gone, and now I must break
those ties, they are all wrong, this time I take-
frayed rope in my palm, rough against my skin,
If only I could soothe it with psalms, if only the world did not sin,
If only the Earth did not weep, if only Good did not sleep-

Brother, I would cut out my soul, so your life you may keep.

Recently one of my loved ones passed away in a violent car accident. He was a brother, a friend, and a rock in the storm. Without him in my life, the feeling of being ungrounded has started to creep upon me.
