tears (a cutters poem)

I feel the tears
strem down my face
I try to stop,
but I can't win this race.
the tears keep streamin',
I'm singing the same song,
he's used to my screamin'
but I know it's still wrong.
I'm just a little girl,
I'm still a child,
but this is my world,
and I'm not in denial
that this is my life.
I know that it's wrong
that a little girl should know
about the feel of a knife.
