I have writers block
And all the time on the clock
My mind is not thinking
My eyes are only blinking
A pen in my hand
This is not going as planned!
I wanted to finish before 9
But I could barely think of this line!

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I don’t know what to say
Cows go MOO
This is nonsense
I can’t do better than 50-cent
This poem is a baseball mitt
And I am a CD player
I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!
Why do I even bother?
I should be watching “How I Met Your Mother”
My rhymes are lame
And I am the one to blame
I’m no where close to fame
No one even knows my name!

I have writers block
And no more time on the clock
My mind is searching
My eyes are closing
It’s almost midnight
Just as I’m about to rot
My pen starts moving
It starts with a dot
The words are flying
And my heart is crying
For the words that are read
Are the words to be said

I like the way you rhyme. It sounds really nice.
