"Friend"
You wicked fool,
So delicate and deadly,
Like a glass figure
Breaking under the pressure and cutting
Our naked and innocent skin.
A turncoat
A betrayer
An enemy, you are
How dare you look upon me!
So, now my soul is tainted,
Like a priceless cup of wine,
Watered down and numb
A liar!
A genie from a lamp,
With a deadly twist
Snaking your way
Like a viper
So sneaky and thin
Yet, despite this,
I open my mouth and say,
“Hello, friend.”
