Requiem for Beauty

As a diamond
is gorgeous in whispering light
her shadow is my worship
love and lust like frantic days
rain shines in her hair
sweet sea of luscious beauty bare
I ask music of the goddess
A woman who is a rose
for what bitter life
so as she is no picture
I still cannot recall
why it sings within me.
