His voice through the speakers
Singing of worlds long forgotten
Pleading me to join him
Across the world, across the sea
Wherever he may be

An urge to follow
To discover where that life leads
A place of hope
A new start

My heart urns for it
But my head dismisses those childish dreams
Turn the music up louder
And watch those wishes grow

The excitement in my stomach
And the love in my heart
Tell me it's real
No one can take that away

It is indestructible
As long as he continues to sing.
What shall come once he stops?
Not to think of...
For now he sings
I hear him and I continue to live.

I wrote this when I was listening to a new album one of my favorite bands just released. It's one of the few things that is more positive than negative. Was just inspired by the lead singer and these words just came.
