When I’m alone, it’s not very often, but when I am I’m just being me
I feel happy, because theres no one around to judge me
I think about things, things that I don’t think of when I’m with friends
Stuff like who I am and who I was, but mostly who I want to be
I can be whoever I want when I’m alone

When I’m alone I sing and dance around the house
It may seem silly, but I’m happy and thats all that matters
I just let my voice go, even if it sounds terrible
I let my socks slide across the wooden floor
I am truly happy

When I’m alone I can be sad, not because I’m alone though
Because of tears and drama and friends
We all go through it, I swear to God
I think we all need a little time away from the real world
Just so that we can let our minds wander into possibilities we have never thought of

When I’m with my friends, I’m just as happy
But when I’m alone I am a different happy
A peaceful happy
Because when I’m alone nothing goes wrong
And I can just be me
