You claim love, but is it true
You tell everyone how you see me
You tell me what I dont believe
But I try to see what you do
But can you see what I see
A world full of hurt and pain
Thats thrown me so much
And shown me its true colors
Leaving me alone and full of sorrows
But loving and caring for everyone not me
And trying to hold on to anything there
But what is love but a selfless act upon a selfish need
A desperation to be with them but to let them go for their happiness
Is that love
If so then why love at all just to bring pain amongst yourself
And if you wont fight for me then how can I know
How can I know youre serious about this
While you just watch me walk away
When youre always on my mind
No one realizes how I feel
I've put up a brave front for so long
When I need to let someone in and know
But is it true
Because I cant love someone on my own
