I blend into the nameless background, a sea of people, the monotonous reality of normality. I was once your island, your ship ready to ride the sea of nothingness in an endless voyage of love and passion. now I’m just another brick in the wall, another fish in this sea of normal nothings. pass me by and I feel no judgement. Land me on a line just to cast me back into the sea once more.

I wrote this piece sort of out of the blue. I had an urge to just write my feelings down and for some reason the idea of the sea was stuck in my head.
