Old Man
Trip over your feet, Old Man
As you stumble to the hearth
Weep with your willow lashes, Old Man
As you barter with your life
For I lay as still as death
And you quake with every breath
Carry me to the ends of the Earth, Old Man
As your frail thin legs wobble
Baptize me in the never ending sea, Old Man
So that not even God can come for me
Beg through your teeth, Old Man
When I share my bed with death
And we walk hand in hand, Old Man
To that ever burning hearth
