Losing daylight,
falling quickly.
Welcoming of the night,
rising moon in the sky.
Vroom!
A dog’s feet rushes
across the dark streets.
Car horns singing in unison,
while the tires slow down.
Cars come to a stop,
as the dog continues chasing pavement.
