Three
Three hard workers
 Renovating a dusty old church,
 in an isolated Bahamian island.
 One hundred degree weather,
little water, and so much needs to
 be done before Friday.

Three kids in a youth group
Trying to serve and help as many as
 possible.
Trying to leave a good impression
and change lives for hundreds and
 thousands of strangers.

 Three best friends
Cherishing one of their last moments
together, before they head off to
 different chapters of their life.
 One heads to Canada,
the other goes to upstate New York.
 the other comes home to
 New Canaan.

 Iz heads off to Canada
 to pursue her photography dreams,
and becomes friends with people from
 all over the world.
And Gus went to rural New York, to
charm people with his winning personality.

 I went home,
back to high school, to daily life,
and begged to relive that photo.
To go back into that photograph,
 in that isolated Bahamian Island,
 in that dusty old church.

 Three best friends.
Three kids in a youth group.
 Three hard workers.
