“Writers aren't exactly people, they're a whole lot of people trying to be one person" F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I shall tell You something
Right Here
Right now
No Lies

You have heard from my Brother
Now you shall hear from me
His name is Death
My name?
It does not matter
But I shall tell You
My name is Humanity

I have watched over your kind
Since the beginning
I have watched you take your first steps
Say your first words
I seen you do magic
I seen you do science
I’ve cradled near my breast as a babe
I’ve watched from afar as you had your own

Now I tell you something
I’ll never understand you

You build yet you destroy
You create yet you kill
You see yet your blind
You love yet you hate

You are never ending Chaos
Never Ordered
Never Peaceful
Always Chaotic

I could go on
But you know
I shall never understand you
I have no wish to
You may be my childe
But I shall never want to understand

I have studied you
Many of your own kind take on the Journey to understand
Many think it’s chemicals in your mind
Others the instincts in your gut
Or maybe it shall be the emotions in your breast
Maybe it is all
I shall never know
Neither shall you

Now the truth I promised you all before
I shall never understand You
Yet You are the most Beautiful creation
Contradictions in Contradictions
A vast maze in a complex puzzle

Yet I find that I shall have it no other way…

Humans are not perfect. Not by a long shot. But we're beautiful in our own way.
