Once more another sword has pierced me
Pain is again taking over my body
Silent screams, eyes crying, soul breaking
Please anyone take out the sword

Tears staining the ground
Eyes shut right
Knees on the ground and arms shaking
Why so cold?

That one person that created the pain
He is the one that keeps me in this chamber
Loneliness, scared, anger, sad all surround me
He knows not of the torture he brings

One little light to save me from the chains
A glow to show me it's alright
To know the end of my suffering is near
A hand to help me get up

An angel..

My friend went through a break up with a guy and it was not pretty. I thought to make this since she likes my poems. At most this poem is how someone might feel after leaving someone who they truley loved or was with for a long time. Someone might come along and they seem to be a savior.
