I see your face in every star;
I span the distance in a single step.
I see the real you as
the moon in each endless pool,
Your eyes glinting
In the darkness, as you focus
On me; and me alone.
I see your smile
In the sun’s bright golden rays;
That smile that says
What even the eyes do not.
I see you and I
In each passing cycle of seasons
and each drop
Of silver rain fallen, our souls entwined.
