Her eyes stabbed me in the stomach,
I buckled over and ran away.
Their hidden lasers shot right through me,
burning up and tying up my insides.
Invisibly grasping my attention,
embezzling my concentration...
The power of her eyes.

This poem is based on my perception of the strength of peoples' eyes. Sometimes even more than words, eyes can show anger, happiness, worry, and more. Readers should feel aware and surprised on this take on eyes. This poem is one stanza with 7 lines.
