She was the prettiest when she laughed
She was the prettiest when she laughed.
Light danced on her eyes,
Laughter painted a sly smile on her face,
As if she knew how much I hurt inside.
Never did she know how much I loved her.
Never will she know now.
Never seems to last forever,
Consuming me till I drown.
Then she left me, one windy day.
She hugged me for the first time then.
I was so overwhelmed that I forgot to say,
That she was the prettiest when she laughed.
