You left me with a hole inside,
An abscess deep within.
A longing for how things should have been,
But cant ever be again.
And as time keeps on drifting bye,
Leaving me in the past.
Uncertainty continues to cloud my mind,
As new decisions approach me fast.

I met her just the other day,
She's as beautiful as can be.
But my mind is filled with painful memories,
Of how you treated me.
I find it hard to trust her,
No matter how sincere she may appear.
Because look where trusting you put me,
As i lay here full of fear.
So now all i can do is sit here and wonder...
Is it safe to trust again?
