Chin up darling, they said
You've got the world on a string so don't let it dangle idly
Chin up sweetheart,
You must open your eyes and stop dragging your feet slong the pavement
Tie your shoes, iron your shirt, and begin your routine
Chin up honey, they said
Because while you sit on the stoop waiting for your life to being
Life sits on its own stoop waiting for you

This is so sweet and simple, and very true.  Nice work, this poem is awesome and well written; and well thought out.  Your work is fun to read :)
