I sit against the bedframe
The sun came through thick blue curtains in pinpoints,
Illuminating her soft cream skin
Eyes like Oceans
I stopped thinking for the first time since ever
Feeling for the first time since ever
I’d give anything for a second longer
There in that brown bed
So I gave Faith
A little at a time
And I pressed my hands together
A little at a time
And those blue oceans got brighter
A little at a time
Faith found me in that ocean
I found him in a brown bed
