I'll send my message
in a bottle
it will float
to you
through the rain
through the storms
like my love for you
it will never die
the waves will
carry it along
it will glide
with the current
the current
that will never
lose it's strength
somehow I know
you will get my message
since after-all
love
conquers all
I'm crying out
but you can't hear me
that's why I'm sending
my message
inside of a bottle
it may take a thousand years
to see the sun
but when it does
one thing's for sure
I will still love you.

The author's comments:
This piece was inspired by the book Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks. It showed me that love is the most powerful emotion, because it has the power to reel you in, not allowing you to ever let go.
