Life as a Loop
Tears stain the pillow under my head
I wish that this would end
I wonder how long it will last this time
Is feeling good such a crime?
Finally I feel relief
The gray clouds clear as the sun reaches its peak
I role out of bed and walk outside
Birds pass by as I wonder what it would feel like to fly
Drawing pictures of the trees
I see the wonders of the world around me
It makes me realize just how small I am
The sun decides that it has had enough
And leaves me in a world of dark
I walk inside and back to bed
It’s time to sleep yet again
Will everything be the same?
Or will my life be finally free of pain?
I guess only time will tell
So I close my eyes till the morning comes
