Amazing Grace

Attention, you got me on lockdown
Cupid shot me with your arrow, ready, aim, fire, now!
What am I supposed to do?
You straight disclaimed me in front of my eyes,
So now what do I do with these feelings inside?
I’m like a lost thought trying to find my mind
It seems like I’m going too fast, how do I rewind?
How do I go back, how can I go back in time?
Yes I said it I have to go back to my past, because if I’m not tripping that’s where I saw you last
And that’s where in my mind I somehow just thought we would last, and when I felt that you were the only one I thought I could have
But when I started expressing it you headed off on full blast
You turned on your turbo and thought I wouldn’t learn though, now you’re just in the shadows when I look into the glass
By that I meant the mirror

To God I pray that it’s me from you he will deliver
Like Deliver Us from Eva, except in other words I’d say that you are my evil and could never be my equal
You’re somewhere in the previous chapters, I’m further along in the sequel
I can see why you may glare at me,
Because I’m in a position you will never be
And I’m further in my success than you will ever see
I hope you get my message because I’ve got the full picture I’m far done with sketching it
I’m raised in Minneapolis and yes I’m representing it,
No more representing you
My God is who I call on no running back to you
I’m lucky to have found myself and I wish you luck too
And now I’m cool as the wind and my spirit is soft as the breeze
I am no longer in need of your attention,
At ease
