The moon is silent
shedding it's light
the light of hope
of support,peace,life,and joy
protecting us
our shield, our comfort
from the real world
excepting and understanding
of whom we are, no matter what
even if we don't know ourselves who we are yet





I turn my head to the stars
and reach out my hand to touch them,
as though they were in my reach
as though i could change time & space
I think of the moon, as an essence
spreading over our world
bathing & renewing us
making us feel fresh
I soak in the essence
As I watch the moon
shedding it's light
the light of hope
of protection
and I feel the peace well up
and this time it’s not just around me
but inside of me as well
