What if you knew that the sleepless
nights and teary eyes were all
because you didn't want me?

What if you knew that the pain I hid,
would never rid, because your
absence taunts me?

My heart would break, my thoughts
would fade, until I could feel nothing.

My trust has died, no hope can rise
because, to you, I'm nothing.

What would you do if you had seen
the tears that fell for hours? Saw
me tremble, saw me shake,
saw my psyche cower?

I think you would have run away,
because that's all you're good for.

Would you flee, and let me bleed,
because you never loved me?
