I reached out to touch your hand,
But all I felt was the cold air of your absence.
I believed that you'd always be here.
My heart once sang of happiness,
Now all I hear is its cry of despair.
The room you once occupied lays empty and lifeless,
I can hear its wails of loneliness.
I stand here hearing the walls whisper your name.
I reached out to touch your hands,
But you were nowhere to be found.
