Favorite Quote:
"I write to give myself strength. I write to be the characters that I am not. I write to explore all the things I'm afraid of." - Joss Whedon

Let the ocean take you down
Lungs burning
The air escapes
The water invading
Suffocating you
Feel life leaving you
Everything slips away
Silence fills the mind
As Death greets you with a kiss

Though I have no experience with drowning, it's always been a great fear of mine. I guess that fear inspired me to write this poem.
