I am paper

dripping wet with water

dead and decaying

then when someone says they need me

I am a rock

standing strong with power

protecting and holding them up

then when someone gets hurt

I am scissors

razor sharp with vengeance

deadly and angry

then I am left alone

and I see myself

as a lost little boy

with nothing and no one
